Central Bedfordshire College (‘We’) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. Where we store your personal data

The data that we collect from you will be stored safely on our UK based servers, it may also be transferred to our dedicated third party application software hosted by Quscient. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing and processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy and the General Data Protection Regulation.

All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

We use information held about you in the following ways:

If you are a student at Central Bedfordshire College we will send necessary communications via student email address if applicable, or where you have given consent SMS regarding necessary College information and other methods of communication to which you have consented to such as provision of a telephone number.

If you are a new user of our website, we will contact you by electronic means only if you have made contact with us and consented to this. If you do consent to us using your data for marketing purposes e.g. letting you know about upcoming events, please tick the relevant box situated on the form on which we collect your data (the application form or enquiry form).
